As many as 2,95,182 cases were settled in the National Lok Adalat held across the State on Saturday. A total of 400 Lok Adalat benches were constituted for the exercise. Both pending and pre- litigation cases were taken up and resolved during the National Lok Adalat, said A.P. State Legal Services Authority Member-Secretary B. S. V. Himabindu. Judicial officers also issued orders directing payment of ₹87.35 crore as compensation to victims, Ms. Himabindu said in a release on Saturday.
