The City police on Saturday (March 14) arrested a Nigerian citizen who had been reportedly absconding in connection with a major synthetic drug trafficking case. The accused was identified as Chukwu Jekwo Ebenezer Umesh, 65. He was nabbed from his hideout in New Delhi. The police sources said that he was the fifth person to be arrested in the case related to the seizure of synthetic drugs worth ₹50 lakh in November 2025.
