Over 28,000 students to appear for Class X examinations in Vizag

As many as 28,983 students from 456 schools in the district will appear for the Class X examinations, commencing on March 16, 2026. Among them are 15,292 boys and 13,691 girls. The district administration has set up 133 examination centres across the district.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday (March 14), District Educational Officer Prem Kumar said that all arrangements are in place to ensure the examinations are conducted in an orderly and hassle-free manner. The examinations will be held every day from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.., he said, adding that however, the Physical Science (PS) and Natural Science (NS) examinations scheduled on March 25 and March 28 will be conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m..
