Traffic restrictions have been announced around the LB Stadium area on Sunday evening (March 15) in view of the Dawat-e-Iftar programme scheduled to be attended by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. The restrictions will be enforced on a need-basis between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., according to an advisory issued by the Hyderabad Traffic Police. Traffic coming from A.R. Petrol Pump towards BJR Statue will be diverted at the petrol pump towards Nampally Railway Station. Vehicles moving from Basheerbagh towards A.R. Petrol Pump will be diverted at BJR Statue towards SBI, Abids and the Nampally Station road. Traffic from Sujatha School lane towards the Khan Lateef Khan building will be diverted at the Sujatha School junction towards Nampally. Motorists have been advised to avoid Lakdi-Ka-Pul, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad Traffic Police Junction, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue Circle, SBI Gunfoundry, A.R. Petrol Pump, KLK Building and Liberty during the specified hours. RTC buses operating from Ravindra Bharathi towards BJR Statue will be diverted at A.R. Petrol Pump towards Nampally Railway Station depending on traffic conditions. Citizens have been advised to take alternative routes and contact the traffic police helpline 9010203626 for assistance.
