File | Photo Credit: Serish Nanisetti To allay concerns of people over availability of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) for domestic purposes, Telangana government said 12,000 cylinders more than the normal daily average were delivered on Friday (March 13, 2026). LPG and oil crisis LIVE: Akasa Air to levy fuel surcharge on domestic, international flight tickets from March 15 Of the total 2,37,123 LPG cylinders delivered on Friday (March 13, 2026), 83,166 were by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), 88,257 by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and 65,700 by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). The daily requirement of the LPG cylinders in Telangana is 2.5 lakh, of which 86% is for domestic and the remaining 14% is commercial purposes. Telangana maintains stock of 10,611 metric tonnes of LPG, which is equivalent to around 6.97 lakh cylinders, as per information from Civil Supllies Department.
