Minister for Natural Resources S. Regupathy on Friday alleged the summons issued by the Central Bureau of Investigation to former Minister and DMK MLA V. Senthilbalaji in the Karur stampede case was an act of intimidating the DMK. Speaking to journalists at Pudukottai, Mr. Regupathy said Mr. Senthilbalaji had not committed any “sin” or “wrong” other than visiting the hospital to meet the persons injured in the stampede. The DMK would not be cowed down by such actions, he said, adding that Mr. Senthilbalaji would face it boldly.
