Ravi Raju, hospital mentor. Usually organ transplant procedures, are carried out in major cities. This is the first time in Indian that a kidney transplant has been performed in a rural speciality hospital, Dr. Ravi Raju, nephrologist and former Vice Chancellor of Dr. NTR UHS, said in a statement.
