The cyber crimes wing of the Cyberabad police arrested two persons in connection with posting abusive, defamatory and objectionable content against actress Anasuya Bharadwaj on social media platforms. According to the police, a complaint was received from the actress stating that since December 23, 2025, several persons and social media pages had been posting and circulating defamatory, abusive and obscene comments targeting her on various online platforms, causing harm to her reputation and dignity. Based on the complaint, a case was registered under the relevant sections of the Information Technology Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
