A sum of Rs 62.50 lakh has been disbursed to the recently surrendered 27 Maoist cadres towards reward money in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. Superintendent of Police B. Rohit Raju on Thursday handed over cheques to the surrendered cadres of the outlawed CPI (Maoist) in Kothagudem, police said. Additional SP (Operations) G. Narender and others were present. Those who received the cheques include two DVCMs, 11 ACMs and 14 platoon members of the outlawed outfit. According to the police, the reward money has been disbursed to them expeditiously as part of the State government’s rehabilitation policy for the surrendered Maoists.
