The Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) on Thursday announced that it has handled its highest-ever volume of cargo since its inception. As of March 12, the port handled 85.07 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo in just 345 days. This achievement marks a new milestone in the port’s 92-year journey, said chairperson M. Angamuthu in a release on Thursday.
