In a first in Tamil Nadu, two black marketeers from Kovilpappakudi in Madurai district were detained under Goondas Act on Thursday for hoarding LPG cylinders with subsidy. The sleuths of Civil Supplies-Criminal Investigation Department had arrested M. Palani, 46, and V. Madankumar, 27, on February 11 for hoarding 398 LPG cylinders, including commercial LPG cylinders in their premises.
