With gas agencies not answering calls and IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) booking systems not working, consumers in the city are queuing up in large numbers at the distributorships to book domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) refills. “I tried booking via IVRS, but it did not work. Since my gas agency was nearby, I went there. But they said no bookings would be taken today and asked me to come tomorrow. I hope the current cylinder will last until I get a refill,” said Saravanan, a resident of Washermenpet.
