The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) launched premium bus services targeting office-goers who travel in private vehicles but prefer to shift to public transport, provided the buses are not crowded. Transport and Electricity Minister S.S. Sivasankar launched five new air-conditioned electric buses on two routes on Wednesday. MTC M.D. T. Prabhushankar also participated in the event.
