Gooty Fort celebrations will be held on March 14 and 15, and the district administration is making elaborate arrangements to ensure the success of the two-day event. Joint Collector C. Vishnu Charan, who is supervising the arrangements for the event, said the State government had decided to organise the celebrations on Saturday and Sunday. The programmes will be held at the football grounds in Gooty. Mr. Vishnu Charan asked officials of various departments to work in coordination and make the event a success. He said committees had been formed to look after protocol, food arrangements, cultural events, exhibitions and stalls, supply of drinking water, sanitation, transportation, parking and other facilities for visitors. The Joint Collector directed officials to ensure proper sanitation, keep the roads clean and neat, and set up mobile toilets at the venue. He also asked them to organise cultural programmes and arrange a medical camp for the convenience of visitors.
