Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 launched in India | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Xiaomi on Wednesday (March 11, 2026) launched Xiaomi 17 series featuring two new flagship smartphones; Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17, in India. The new Xiaomi 17 series comes with optical set up co-engineered with German lens maker Leica. Xiaomi 17 Ultra comes with a 6.9 inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness. It claims a weight of 218.4 grams, bears an aluminum alloy frame, and an IP68 rating for protection against dust and moisture. It comes in in White, Black, or stunning Starlit Green colours. Similarly, Xiaomi 17 has 6.3 inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness. It claims 191 grams of weight, and IP68 certification. It will be available in Venture Green, Alpine Pink, Ice Blue, and classic Black. Xiaomi 17 Ultra gets a 6,000 mAh battery along with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. The Xiaomi 17 ships with a 6,300 mAh battery, complimented by a 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Both, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 run on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. They operate on Xiaomi HyperOS 3.5 out of the box. Xiaomi 17 Ultra comes 1-inch LOFIC main camera sensor. It sports a 50 MP main along with a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. The 200MP 75–100mm camera features a 75–100mm mechanical optical zoom. It has a 50 MP front camera as well. Xiaomi 17 comes with a 50 MP main, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. It too has a 50 MP selfie camera. Xiaomi 17 Ultra sells at ₹1,29,999, while the Xiaomi 17 starts at ₹89,999. They will be available across Amazon, Xiaomi, and Xiaomi retail stores starting March 18.
