Xiaomi Pad 8 launched in India with HyperOS 3 and Snapdragon processor | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Xiaomi on Tuesday (March 10, 2026) launched the Pad 8 in India after its global debut during the 2026 Mobile World Congress. The Xiaomi Pad 8 runs on Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor with up to 12 GB LPDDR5T RAM and 256 GB UFS 4.1 storage. Xiaomi will offer four years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates to Pad 8. It operates on HyperOS 3 out of the box with updated lock screens, wallpapers, and customisable widgets. It also gets a new dock to support a larger number of apps, and workstation mode for PC-level browser support. Xiaomi has provided stylus support with the Focus Pen Pro which will be sold as accessory. It comes with rotation support. Xiaomi Pad 8 ships with a 9,200 mAh battery, supports 45W turbo charging, and a 67W charger included in the box. Xiaomi Pad 8 starts at ₹33,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB variant, the 12 GB/256 GB variant priced at ₹36,999. The Nano Texture variant (12 GB/256 GB) is available at ₹38,999. Xiaomi is also introducing a Creator’s Edition, which bundles the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro in the box, priced at ₹41,999 for the standard display variant and ₹43,999 for the Nano Texture variant. It will go on sale starting March 17, 2on Amazon, Xiaomi, and Xiaomi retail partners.
