A total of 57,031 cases are pending in 46 courts in Dakshina Kannada, of which 8,853 have been pending for over five years, as on March 9, 2026. As per the statistics available on the National Judicial Data Grid, of the pending cases, 22,345 cases were civil, while 34,686 were criminal cases.
