A five-day Management Development Programme jointly organized by the North Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (NKSSIA) and the MSMEs Development and Facilitation Office (MSMEs DFO) began in Hubballi on Monday. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, president of NKSSIA Ramesh Patil highlighted the importance of such training programmes in strengthening small-scale industries and improving managerial capabilities. Joint Director and Assistant Director of MSMEs Doni Kiran spoke about the government support available for micro, small and medium enterprises. Resource person Manohar Kotturu Shettar addressed a session on export documentation and procedures and explained the steps required for businesses to enter international markets. He elaborated on the preparations necessary for export-oriented activities. NKSSIA vice-president Nagesh Ritti, secretary Sripathi Bhat and others were present.
