Iswarya Hospital has inaugurated the Iswarya Cancer Centre at its OMR – Taramani facility in Chennai, expanding access to advanced cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The centre was inaugurated by actor Sathyaraj in the presence of S. Rajasundaram, CEO, and Arun Muthuvel, managing director, along with the hospital’s oncology team.

The facility brings together comprehensive oncology services under one roof, including surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, paediatric oncology, bone marrow transplant, preventive oncology, nuclear medicine, onco-pathology, and palliative care. It is equipped to perform complex cancer surgeries with specialised surgical teams and advanced operation theatres.

The centre also introduces AI-powered PET-CT imaging and high-precision radiotherapy systems to improve cancer detection, staging and treatment accuracy. Immunotherapy, which helps the body’s immune system fight cancer cells, will also be offered.
