Stalin on Sunday (March 8, 2026) inaugurated three new projects by the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) implemented at a cost of ₹28.25 crore. He also inaugurated three new projects by the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) implemented at a cost of ₹4.15 crore. During his visit to his Kolathur Assembly constituency, Mr. Stalin also inaugurated upgraded sewage pumping stations by the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) at a cost of ₹12.48 crore, an official release said. The projects by the CMDA were implemented from funds under the North Chennai Development Scheme.
