The famous Sri Eswaramma temple in Kattubadipalem village in Buchireddipalem mandal of SPSR Nellore district will be built with the financial assistance to the tune of ₹15 lakh provided by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

TTD trust board member and Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi participated in the ‘Bhumi Puja’ conducted for the project and symbolically offered the first brick to the priest on Sunday (March 8, 2026).

While thanking the TTD management for coming forward to build, renovate and develop smaller temples in villages to help propagate Sanatana Dharma, she recalled that the trust board had resolved to develop 5,000 such small temples across the State. It was on her recommendation that the TTD had sanctioned the Kattubadipalem temple development project.

Stressing the importance of having temples in every village to inculcate an ethical way of life in the citizens, the MLA hailed the role of the TTD’s Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishat (HDPP) in shaping children as noble citizens in future.

Buchireddipalem municipal Chairman M. Supraja and Vice-Chairman Y. Sivakumar Reddy were present.
