Images exemplifying ‘Nari Shakti’ in Operation Sindoor, the Indian women’s cricket team’s historic World Cup victory last year, the historic feat of para-archer Sheetal Devi, who won her maiden World Archery Para Championships gold medal, were intricately woven into the sari by the couple. The creative flair and ingenuity of the weaver couple in highlighting the inspirational saga of women achievers on the eve of International Women’s Day earned them wide appreciation from several quarters.
