The Kagwad Police have arrested a 35-year-old man for robbing a motorcyclist and recovered from him stolen cash. The accused has been identified as Sagar Ashok Sanadi. On Friday, the accused intercepted a motorcyclist, Shanthu Chandrakanth Avalekar, near Shiraguppi village and robbed him of ₹2.81 lakh cash and snatched away his mobile phone by threatening him with a weapon. On being alerted, the police launched a manhunt and nabbed the accused who was hiding in Shiraguppi, within four hours of the crime. The Kagwad police have registered a case.
