Police conduct cordon-and-search at Parawada

The district police carried out a massive cordon-and-search operation, named “Operation Vajra Prahar”, at JNNURM Colony and Gorlevanipalem under the Parawada police station limits in the early hours of Saturday (March 7, 2026).

In a first-of-its-kind, the police used advanced drone cameras to track the movement of suspects and monitor remote locations. They identified and questioned a history-sheet holder, who was previously involved in ganja-related cases and verified his recent activities. Police also seized six commercial gas cylinders and six nitrogen cylinders that were being stored illegally.
