A conference held in Sathyamangalam recently demanded that the Union Government withdraw the proposed “Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM-G)” Bill and restore the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in a strengthened form. The conference was organised by the 100 Days Scheme Workers’ Association of the Communist Party of India (CPI).
