With the seat-sharing arrangement among the constituents of the Secular Progressive Alliance expected to be finalised over the next few days, the DMK is gearing up for a massive show of strength ahead of the Assembly election at its 12th State conference here on Monday (March 9).

Tiruchi will be the party’s election launchpad yet again as DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is expected to kick off the election campaign from the sprawling ground that is being readied at Siruganur, on the outskirts of the city along the Chennai-Tiruchi National Highway. Mr. Stalin hit the campaign trail from Siruganur ahead of the 2021 Assembly election too.
