The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has lodged a police complaint seeking legal action against Bigg Boss fame Tanuja and Divvela Madhuri for allegedly celebrating a birthday in Tirumala. As part of Tanuja’s birthday celebrations, a cake was reportedly sourced up to the hill town from Tirupati and a video of the revelry was also subsequently posted on social media. In a handout issued on Friday, the TTD PRO department took strong exception to the incident, terming it highly inappropriate and in violation of established norms. It asserted that such acts are strictly prohibited atop the sacred shrine. The statement also said the TTD Vigilance Department had already filed a complaint with the police seeking legal action against the individuals and that an investigation was under way. Notably, MLC Duvvada Srinivas reached Tirumala on Thursday along with Madhuri and Tanuja for darshan. The MLC couple had earlier courted controversy over an alleged photo shoot in front of the hill temple Published – March 06, 2026 11:10 pm IST Share this: Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Click to share on Threads (Opens in new window) Threads Click to share on X (Opens in new window) X Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window) Telegram Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email More Click to print (Opens in new window) Print Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window) Pocket Click to share on Mastodon (Opens in new window) Mastodon Click to share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window) Nextdoor Click to share on Bluesky (Opens in new window) Bluesky Like this:Like Loading...
