Bengaluru city has once again got ₹7,000 crore in the 2026-27 Budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday, the same as previous year.

While a major chunk of these funds, ₹4,000 crore, will go to Bengaluru Smart Infrastructure Limited (B-SMILE) to fund big ticket projects like tunnel roads, the remaining ₹3,000 crore will be divided between the five new city corporations and other parastatals like Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) and Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), sources said.
