Woman arrested for killing two puppies after spat with neighbour near Tiruchi

A 28-year-old woman was arrested on Friday on charges of slamming two puppies against the compound wall of her neighbour at Kambarasampettai on the outskirts of Tiruchi leading to the death of the two animals. Police identified the accused as J. Meenakshi Mishra of Kambarasampettai.

A clip of the woman slamming the two puppies against the wall went viral on the social media platform. In the clip, the woman was seen coming out of her house and slamming a couple of puppies on the road against the wall of her neighbour. The crime was committed on March 4 morning. The action against the woman was taken based on a complaint preferred by the People For Animal Tiruchi vice president Ajay to the Jeeyapuram police station.
