Forest officials from Mancherial district apprehended three persons on charges of involvement in illegal hunting, cooking and consumption of meat of wild animals. The three persons, identified as Gaddam Bheemaiah, Thatra Bheemaiah and Kothapalli Posham from Thatraposhagudem village of Dandepally mandal in the district were caught during a raid led by Forest Range Officer, Tadlapet Sushma Rao. Wild boar meat was confiscated from the residences of two persons. The accused were produced before Judicial First Class Magistrate, Luxettipet on Monday and remanded to judicial custody.
