The district administration has launched a new “Thursday Review” system to ensure that dozens of newly signed tourism projects get off the ground without delay. The move follows the CII Partnership Summit held in November 2025, where the State government signed 43 agreements with various companies to build new tourism attractions. To prevent these projects from getting stuck in paperwork, the District Collector has ordered a weekly progress check on every Thursday.
