The Coimbatore unit of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) on Thursday arrested a tap inspector and plumber attached to the water supply wing of the Coimbatore Corporation on charge of demanding and accepting ₹5,000 as bribe for a water connection. The arrested have been identified as tap inspector P. Mohan (42) and plumber P. Eswaran (41) of Victoria Avenue at Chettipalayam.
