Manjunath Expressing their anguish over higher rentals and poor space allocation at the new Central Market building coming up at Hampankatta, fisherwomen selling fish at the market near the State Bank of India bus terminus told Karnataka State Commission for Women Chairperson Nagalakshmi Choudhary on Thursday that they are not willing to shift to the new building. When Ms. Choudhary came to the fish market around noon to hear their grievances, they appeared reluctant to voice their concerns. “Earlier, many have heard our grievances, but none addressed them. We have nothing to tell you,” said an elderly fisherwoman to Dr. Choudhary.
