The Indian Army will conduct a recruitment rally under the Unit Headquarters Quota at Mukhtair Hall, AOC Centre, Secunderabad, from February 2 to May 10, for enrolment into various Agniveer categories. The rally will cover recruitment for Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Clerk/SKT limited to AOC wards, Agniveer Tradesmen (10th standard) in trades including Chef, Artisan Miscellaneous Works, Steward, Support Staff (ER), Dresser and Washerman, as well as Outstanding Sportsmen and Tdn 10th Musicians under the open category. Outstanding Sportsmen candidates are required to report at Mukhtair Hall, AOC Centre, by 6 a.m. on February 2, for sports trials. Candidates applying under the Tdn 10th Musician category must report at the same venue by 6 a.m. on February 4, for the aptitude test. The age limit for all categories is between 17½ and 21 years. For Agniveer General Duty, candidates must have passed Class 10 or Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. Preference will be given to candidates holding a valid Light Motor Vehicle driving licence for driver requirements. For Agniveer Clerk/SKT, candidates must have passed the 10+2 Intermediate examination in any stream with 60% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% in each subject, along with 50% marks in English and in Maths, Accounts or Bookkeeping at the Class XII level. For Agniveer Tradesmen (10th standard), a simple Class 10 pass with 33% marks is required.
