City union bank officials handing over laptops to Madurai Corporation on Thursday. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement The City Union Bank (CUB) presented 20 computers, including five laptops to the Madurai Corporation on Thursday. According to a press release, through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the bank had earmarked ₹5.09 lakh and presented the gadgets to the officials in the presence of Commissioner Chitra Vijayan. The Corporation said that it would provide the new laptops to the five zonal ACs, Assistant commissioner (revenue) and other departments. The CUB Regional Manager Durairaj, AGM Satyanarayanan, Branch Managers Geetha, Venugopal and Udaykumar, AC (revenue) Mohamed Ali Jinnah, city engineer Babu, ACs Ravikumar, Sridevi and among other officers were present.
