A nine-day Grama Devi Jatra Mahotsava is under way in the town where a large number of people are thronging the venue. On Wednesday, the office-bearers of Anjuman-e-Islam committee of the town took part in various rituals of the annual fair and made offerings to Hindu deities. The office-bearers not only took part in the rituals but also arranged for food to be served to devotees who visited the Grama Devi temple.
