Traffic diversions in Secunderabad for sewer line works

Traffic diversions will be enforced in parts of Secunderabad in view of the proposed laying of a sewer pipeline by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) from Friday.

As per the traffic advisory issued by the police on Thursday, authorities plan to lay a 450 mm diameter sewer line from the Bharat Petroleum pump to the railway bridge underpass near Rail Nilayam, covering a stretch of about 419 metres. In view of the excavation work along the route, traffic restrictions and diversions have been proposed to ease congestion and ensure the safety of commuters.
