The application portal for the nationwide aptitude test for admission to the seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) will open on March 5. A press release stated that interested candidates will have to apply online on the portal www.iiseradmission.in, which will close on April 13. Corrections in application forms will be carried out between April 16 and 18 and exam hall tickets will be released on May 24. The exam will be held between 9 a.m. and 12 noon on June 7. Interested candidates should have passed Class XII or an equivalent exam or minimum three-year Diploma programme in science stream, with an aggregate of 60 per cent or above (55 per cent or above for SC/ST/PWD candidates), and should have studied at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Mathematics is compulsory for BS/MS in Computational and Data Sciences at IISER Kolkata, B.Tech/BS in Economic Sciences at IISER Bhopal, and BS in Economic and Statistical Sciences at IISER Tirupati, the release added.
