Three time MP Tiruchi N. Siva and a key spokesperson Constantine Ravindran are the candidates. It is a record of sorts for Mr. Siva, who will be entering the Rajya Sabha for the fifth time. The DMK has allotted one seat each to the Congress and the DMDK. Thursday (March 5, 2026) is the last date for filing of nominations for the biennial polls.
