Minister’s message

Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty, in a message to students appearing for the examinations, said exams were nothing to fear but an opportunity to convey whatever knowledge one had gained. The evaluation would determine how much the students had been able to develop 21st century skills such as critical thinking, analytical skills, and creativity. According to the norms readied by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, 80% of the questions would be easy or of average difficulty level. Interesting questions pertaining to learning outcomes will be related to life examples, the Minister said, urging students not to feel daunted by attempts on social media to make them fearful of exams.
