Ragesh The final rites of K.P. Unnikrishnan, former Union Minister and senior Congress leader who passed away on Tuesday (March 3, 2026) morning, were held in Kozhikode on Wednesday (March 4, 2026). Assembly Speaker A.N. Shamseer, Kozhikode Mayor O. Sadashivan, Shafi Parambil, Vadakara MP; M.K. Raghavan, Kozhikode MP; and Vadakara MLA K.K. Rema were among those who paid tributes to Unnikrishnan ahead of the funeral. The mortal remains were consigned to flames with State honours. The final rites were held at the Manari crematorium.
