Odisha governor Kambhampati Haribabu observs the CT scan wing at the Sri Gurudeva Charitable Trust Hospital of Mangalampalem in Vizianagaram district on Wednesday. | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT Odisha Governor Kambhampati Haribabu on Wednesday inaugurated the new Computed Tomography (CT) scan facility in the Sri Gurudeva Charitable Trust hospital of Mangalampalem in Kothavalasa mandal, Vizianagaram district. He also inaugurated the aarogyasri ward and distributed artificial limbs to physically challenged persons. Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that the nominal fee for the CT scan will benefit a large number of poor patients who could not afford to do a CT scan due to the cost involved. Mr. Haribabu added that the CT scan reports will help doctors provide proper treatment to patients. He lauded the trust founder Raparthi Jagadish Babu for extending services to patients as well as physically challenged persons in North Andhra region and other parts of the State.
