Two 17-year-old boys drowned while swimming in Panthulu Cheruvu in Suraram on Tuesday afternoon. The incident was reported around 2.30 p.m. The deceased, identified as Sagar and Abhishek, entered the lake for a swim and failed to return to the shore. On receiving information, police and the Disaster Response Force (DRF) team rushed to the spot and launched a search operation.
