Seafarers club at Chennai Port nears completion, to be ready next month

An exclusive recreational club for seafarers with a host of amenities will finally be ready at the Chennai Port in April. In a couple of months, a private firm will take charge to operate and maintain the seafarers club.

For seafarers, who set foot in the port after an exhausting sail, this facility aims to provide much needed respite. From table tennis to a sauna, several amenities are getting ready at the club.
