Flight cancellations to the Middle East continue

The spate of flight cancellations to the Middle East continued on Tuesday too at Chennai airport. A total of 15 departure flights and 15 arrival flights to Doha, Sharjah, Dubai, Muscat, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain were cancelled at Chennai airport. 

But one flight arrived from Dubai to Chennai on Tuesday morning with 37 passengers, airport sources said. One flight which departed from Chennai to Dubai returned a few hours later to the city airport due to airspace closure. The flight which departed from Chennai around 3.40 a.m. with 36 passengers returned to the city nearly four hours later
