More than 15,500 flowers of 48 different varieties will welcome visitors at the festival organised by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). The Chief Minister called on residents to help make the city cleaner, greener and more beautiful. “Earlier, people travelled to Kashmir to see tulips, but now due to the dedicated efforts of the NDMC, citizens can enjoy tulips and a wide variety of flowers in the Capital itself,” Ms. Gupta said, describing the event as a “selfie festival” and a major attraction for visitors.
