College students celebrating Holi in New Delhi on Tuesday. | Photo Credit: Shashi Shekhar Kashyap The Delhi police on Tuesday arrested 204 people and took 973 others into preventive custody as part of ‘Operation Aaghat 4.0’, a drive undertaken to maintain law and order in the run-up to Holi. “Targeted checks were conducted against those involved in the sale of illicit liquor and drugs, and special scrutiny was undertaken of potential nuisance creators,” Sanjay Jain, Joint Commissioner of Police, Southern Range, told mediapersons.
