Venkatesh said on Tuesday that efforts will be made to open the newly constructed veterinary college at Koila, Kadaba taluk, Dakshina Kannada, from the next academic year. Speaking at a meeting at Koila Veterinary College and the Livestock Breeding and Training Center he said that the college is yet to get the approval of the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and necessary steps will be taken to complete this process soon.
