Four persons were arrested for assaulting a samosa shop owner with a wooden log in Taramani. Police said the victim, T. Prabhu, 37, a native of Perambalur district, prepares samosas with the help of about 10 workers and supplies them to various shops. There had been previous enmity between Deivanayagam, who had earlier worked at Prabhu’s shop, and Karthik, who is employed at another samosa shop.
