Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to enhance administrative efficiency by leveraging Artificial Intelligence across all departments. He asked them to put in place a robust mechanism to integrate data from drones, CCTV cameras and satellite sources to ensure improved delivery of public services and better monitoring of performance.

Reviewing Real Time Governance and public feedback on government services at his camp office on Monday, the Chief Minister called for heightened vigilance in view of recurring accidents and mishaps in the State. He underlined the need to prioritise preventive measures to avert loss of life and property.

Referring to the recent explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Kakinada district that claimed several lives, Mr. Naidu directed officials to study best safety practices by visiting Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu, known for its regulated cracker industry.

The Chief Minister also instructed officials to ensure that there were no lapses in pension distribution and to intensify focus on the development of Swarna Gramams and Swarna Wards. He clarified that surveys should be undertaken only to collect additional information wherever necessary and that neither the public nor government staff should be burdened with repeated data collection exercises.

Officials informed him that WhatsApp-based Mana Mitra services have now been expanded to 953 services. The Chief Minister stressed the need to create greater public awareness so that citizens can make effective use of these facilities.
